Understand plans, usage limits, and billing for PageDrifter.

Plans Overview

PageDrifter offers four plans to fit different monitoring needs:

Understanding Checks

A check is when PageDrifter visits your monitored URL to see if anything has changed. Your monthly check quota determines how many times we can check your URLs.

Example calculation

If you monitor 10 URLs with hourly checks (24 × 30 = 720 checks per month per URL), you'll use approximately 7,200 checks per month. This would fit within the Pro plan.

Usage Limits

Each plan has limits on monitors and monthly checks:

When you reach 80%

You'll receive an email notification warning that you're approaching your limit.

When you exceed your limit

Monitors will be paused until your billing cycle resets or you upgrade your plan. Existing data is preserved.

Billing Cycle

  • Monthly billing: Charged on the same day each month when you subscribed
  • Annual billing: Charged once per year with approximately 20% savings
  • Check quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle
  • Unused checks do not roll over to the next cycle

Upgrading Your Plan

When you upgrade to a higher plan:

  • Changes take effect immediately
  • You'll be charged the prorated difference for the current period
  • Your new check quota is available right away
  • Monitor and check frequency limits are updated

Downgrading Your Plan

When you downgrade to a lower plan:

  • The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You keep your current plan until then
  • If you exceed the new plan's limits, oldest monitors are paused
  • No refunds for the remaining period

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period
  • After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan
  • Monitor data is retained for 30 days before deletion

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal (in supported regions)
  • SEPA Direct Debit (for EU customers)

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details.

Invoices

Access your invoices from Settings → Billing:

  • Download PDF invoices for any payment
  • Invoices include VAT where applicable
  • Add company details for business invoices

VAT & Taxes

  • Prices shown exclude VAT
  • EU customers: VAT is added based on your country
  • Business customers: Provide a valid VAT ID for reverse charge
  • Non-EU customers: No VAT applied

Billing FAQ

What happens if my payment fails?

We'll retry the payment a few times and send you email notifications. If payment continues to fail, your account is downgraded to Free after 7 days.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. Contact support for a full refund within 30 days.

How do I update my payment method?

Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Method to add or update your card.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?

Yes! Contact us with proof of nonprofit status for a 50% discount on any plan.
